Law Practice:
Daniel Steuer has been an associate with McElroy, Meyer, Walker & Condon since October of 2004. His practice includes the representation of Indian tribes in all aspects of federal Indian law. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for Justice Nancy Rice of the Colorado Supreme Court from 2003 to 2004. During his time in law school Mr. Steuer worked for the Colorado Attorney General's Office in the Public Officials Unit and for Faegre & Benson in their Boulder office.
Education and Professional Activities:
Mr. Steuer received his B.A. from Haverford College in 1990 and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2003, where he was a Casenote & Comment Editor on the University of Colorado Law Review and was awarded membership in the Order of the Coif. Mr. Steuer has been published in the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy and the University of Colorado Law Review. Mr. Steuer is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado.
